4. This kaleidoscope is made from the same images as in step 3, except that the initial image is placed in the upper right corner.

2. The photo is cropped to square dimensions -- height and width are the same. As this page (and other examples show, it is often best to crop the original at an angle, depending on the artistic effect you prefer.

You can indicate the way your photo is cropped. Or you can leave it to us.

3. Copies of the cropped photo are placed at the four corners of a larger image. This example starts with the original photo in the upper left corner. Other copies are mirror imaged to create the kaleidoscopic effect.
