What will a kaleidoscope look like? Everything depends on the content of the cropped square image. How big was it. What angle was it cropped at? Was the derived image based on placing upper left first (center image below) or upper right image first (rightmost image below).

The second and third images are two kaleidoscopes derived from the cropped image.
